After all, the specific impulse of N2 high-energy fuel is about 6, while that of hydrogen-oxygen engine is about 45.
Theoretically, the charge ratio of N2 high-energy fuel rocket should be about 191 times that of hydrogen-oxygen engine, that is, around 57.
However, Huang Xiuyuan can’t guarantee anything theoretically.
At present, the charge ratio of 52 has been refreshed, and the engine material, the overall design of the rocket and the control system need to be further improved.
Zhang Peicai explained some problems in the design and manufacture of Chang 12.

However, such a high-temperature resistant cermet can’t withstand the engine combustion temperature, which really makes a group of experts in the Aerospace Research Institute feel unprepared.
At present, due to the very high energy density of N2 material, the engine tail flame temperature has reached a terrible level of 5472 degrees Celsius.

Although the silicon nano-layer and the tungsten nano-layer can withstand the extreme high temperature of 474 degrees Celsius, the tungsten-silicon nano-composite layer has a very good characteristic, that is, high-temperature detachment.
When the ambient temperature exceeds 53 degrees Celsius, the tungsten-silicon composite layer will gradually liquefy and be ejected from the engine by the engine tail flame. In this process, part of the heat in the engine part will be taken away to delay the heat transfer and accumulation of the high temperature to the engine substrate.
In this way, it is ensured that the engine will not be burned through the arrow body during the flight of the rocket.
However, this method brings two disadvantages. One is that the weight of the engine has increased by 12 tons. After all, the weight of tungsten metal is very pitted. Another problem is that it can’t be solved from the root when the temporary solution can be delayed.
Huang Xiuyuan let go of the document "that is to say, because the design index of length 12 is more than three times that of length 11, it is difficult for the engine to withstand the working temperature for a long time?"
Zhang Peicai’s stall hand "is that if the tungsten-silicon layer in the engine part is increased, the weight of the engine will be further increased and the engine part is limited, so it is impossible to limit the superposition of the tungsten-silicon layer."
In the face of this deadly temperature, it is relatively easy to handle rockets in low-earth orbit and medium orbit, such as Chang 11.
However, Chang-12 design is mainly used in future lunar exploration projects and fire exploration projects, which need to be in operation for a long time. If it is changed to liquid fuel, it will not be worth the candle.
