Su Dongpo vaguely felt that Zhong Shu meant that he was the reincarnation of Xing Pu, but he woke up when he was not sure.

The next day, Su Dongpo slept during the day and had the same dream. Master Zhongshu recited the same poem again. When he woke up, Zhongshu’s visit felt so real as if it were not a dream. The dream asked Zhongshu Zhongshu, I don’t know.
Su Dongpo then wrote a poem in painting.
Although the broken piano has not been repaired in the middle of the piano, who knows that the thirteen-stringed syllable Pei Yu’s new piano is high and the silk is not attached to the wood? Now the seven-stringed zither moves the world well and drives away the ugliness. It is known that Dong Tinglan doesn’t know string music because of following the customs.
This poem means that the new piano has not yet entered the wood, but unfortunately the world prefers this new sound to chase the old broken piano. Although the syllables of the thirteen strings are like those of Yu Peizheng, the meaning and affection of the piano are very rich, but the world is like a room, and it is impossible to know the tune of the stringed piano in the vulgar.
Su Dongpo’s grief is really heartbreaking. We live in this world because of karma. Although we can’t know the karma of burying a picture and breaking the piano in previous lives, we can’t help but cherish the karma in this life. Only those who cherish karma can hear the same sound as Pei Yu in the stringed piano.
Note: A recent reading of Xu Changru’s collection of Dongpo Zen, some of which are Fang Dongpo’s poems, have no stories and are very interesting.

Wisdom comes first.
All treasures, success, fame and fortune are all salt to us. Of course, it tastes good, but it is a kind of confusion to focus on treasures, success, fame and fortune and forget that you don’t know your own life.
Merit day, dark day
A very beautiful woman, her skin is white and flawless, and her facial features are intact, which is very rare among people. She’d better decorate herself with jewelry.
One day, this woman went into a private room. The host looked at it very much and asked her what your name is and where you live.
The woman replied that I am a man of great merit.
So what do you do everywhere?
The woman said that when I go there, I can give others all kinds of gold, silver, glass, pearls, corals, amber cars, agates, carriages and handmaiden servants.
After listening to this, the master secretly thought that I was a Fordham man so that I could come to my home. Then he burned incense and scattered flowers to support this woman and worshipped her respectfully. At this time, the master probed and saw another woman outside the door. She was very ugly and her clothes were tattered and stained with dirt and dust. Her skin was wrinkled and cracked, and her color was gray and pale.
The host was very surprised to see a woman with such an ugly world, so he asked her what your name is and where you live.
Women say my name is dark.
What do you mean by darkness? asked the master
The woman said that it was because I went to a place where all the treasures of the owner could be consumed.
The host was so angry and disgusted that he ran into the room and threatened the ugly woman with a sharp knife, saying that if you don’t leave at once, I’ll kill you.
The ugly girl heard that you are really a foolish and unintelligent person.
What did the master say? He said I was stupid and unintelligent.
The ugly woman said that the woman who just entered your house is my sister, me and my sister are usually inseparable. If you want to kick me out, my sister will go with me.
The host didn’t quite believe what a pair of sisters were so different in beauty and ugliness, but they followed each other closely. He ran into the house and asked if it was true that a woman outside called her your sister.
Merits and deeds are true. My sister has a good relationship and has always been advancing and retreating. We have never been separated. When we go to people’s homes together, I always like her, and I always benefit others. She is corrupted by ordinary people. People who love me should love her and respect me. People should also respect her.
When the host heard this, he said that a good thing is connected with a bad thing, so I would rather have good or bad than you go. The two women got up and walked in tandem. The host looked at their backs and was very calm and enthusiastic.
This is a fable in the Great Nirvana Sutra, which was told by the Buddha to his brother Jia Ye. He added a note. He said that all beings in Jia Ye were upside down, greedy for life, and hated old age. Bodhisattva Jia Ye did not care about his birth.
In our suffering world, all living beings are eager to enjoy beautiful clothes, delicious food and beautiful appearance, but often they can’t see all the good things buried behind their backs, which makes people addicted and corrupt, because this is an old saying, misfortune, happiness, reliance on happiness and misfortune. Although it is very difficult to explore this layer, we always think that merit, dark days and dark days are the best sisters of feelings, and it is better for us to stop.
Half-cake salt
A man was so hungry that he brought seven pancakes from his bag. He ate one and then another, and he ate six of them. He was full when he ate the seventh one.
This man slapped himself in the face with regret. He took the last half of the cake and verbally said, I am so stupid. I am full today because this half of the cake knew that I would be full if I ate this half of the cake, so I didn’t have to eat the six cakes in front of me.
This is a fable in the Hundred Metaphors Classic. After the Buddha finished, he added a note. He said that the world is always happy and infatuated, but it is full of happiness. The idiot was born in full thought. The world knows that wealth and happiness are bitter when seeking wealth and happiness. After gaining protection and suffering, he also loses his worries and worries. When he was three, he was happy, but he was happy to cover his old name with food and clothing. All Buddhas said that peace in three realms is a great hardship, and ordinary people were confused and full of happiness.
When we tasted half a cake of happiness, did we forget the six cakes of pain in front of us? In this world, the second generation and the third generation are often unable to continue their ancestors’ family business because they ate half a cake of happiness and forgot six cakes of poverty.
